Cryobanks International Inc. was founded in 1994 in Altamonte Springs, Florida, just north of Orlando. Dwight C. Brunoehler, its founder and present Chief Executive Officer, initially established the Company as a semen bank and clinical/andrology laboratory.
As the Company grew, its mission extended to serve the community as an autologous blood bank and then ultimately as an umbilical cord blood stem cell storage and donation bank. Uniting these parallel technologies in one facility lead to the development of the Cryocenter concept.
This knowledge sharing has enabled our staff to improve standard freezing protocols and methodologies and has brought much positive recognition from various governing bodies and medical facilities. Through the cord blood donation program, the Company has built one of the largest single cord blood storage banks in the world.

Our laboratory technicians are trained in all areas of the clinical laboratory with an emphasis in blood/tissue banking. Our technicians are State of Florida licensed and ASCP certified. A qualified technician is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A team of some of the finest physicians in the world are on our Scientific And Medical Board of Advisors (S.A.M.B.A.), including five transplant physicians.
